This story calls for a slow reading with reflection, calls for conversation and interpretations, for the opening of important questions, especially if a parent reads it with children. The language chosen by the author requires the reader's openness to new forms, wordplay and unusual, not always formally coordinated rhymes, almost as if the author approaches the language from a space of absolute freedom, the kind she intended for her heroes - Rose and Hedgehog.

The author, in her fairy-tale work, describes in a somewhat old-fashioned way, with a casual rhyme, the journey of a grass from the earth to outer space. A powerful allegory connects the boundaries of literature intended for both children and adults. In combination with the excellent expression of visual artist Ivan Tudek, a beautiful itinerary has been created that opens up the worlds of imagination and the worlds of thinking about who we are, where and why we go, and finally, why we return. The text can be read on several levels, both as a philosophical and as a story close and clear to the youngest, and as a wonderful journey through the word and image to which we are all invited and which we can enjoy even after the last page of this picture book is closed. The archaic nature of the language is skillfully visually supported and at the same time creatively intrusive as a motivation for further dreaming after having read the book and is intertwined with a balanced range of colors that faithfully follows the action full of symbolism. The observations about time open additional questions that can be discussed by the youngest and by those who are "very" adult. The description of the relativity of time through images of the grass’s journeys opens other questions about things that offer more than we think at first glance.
